State Symbols of Utah

Utah has 33 amazing symbols that represent our great state.  Your task will be to create a PowerPoint, Keynote, or Canva presentation showcasing some of these symbols.  

Guidelines

1.  Use the following link to learn about Utah's State Symbols and to identify the symbols that you would like to use in your PowerPoint presentation.  https://statesymbolsusa.org/states/united-states/utah Links to an external site.
2. Click on each symbol and read the brief explanation on how it became one of our state's symbols.  Keep track of the symbols that you find the most interesting.  
3. Select a minimum of 10 symbols that you would like to use in your presentation.
4. Here are the guidelines for this project: create a title slide for the presentation, a minimum of 10 symbols must be included on their own slide.
5. Each symbol slide should include a pictorial representation you selected along with 2-3 complete sentences describing why you selected the symbol and the reason(s) you find the symbol interesting.  
6. If time permits, you may use transitions and audio features.
7. Each slide will be worth 5 points: 1 pt for title, 1 pt for graphic/picture, 1 pt for neatness, 2 pts for written explanation.  The title slide will be worth 5 points and will be graded on having an appropriate title, graphic and neatness.  
8. When your presentation is complete, you will upload it and submit it in Canvas.
