Welcome to First Grade. I am excited to learn and discover new things with your child this year. I believe that each student can have a successful year in school if he/she has the educational support of parents and teacher. Success begins when a child believes that he is capable of learning and achieving great things. My goal is to make sure every student believes that he can succeed in First Grade.

 Has Your Child Missed Class?

What to do if my child is absent- 

If your child is absent due to illness or vacation they can make up their work by clicking the DAILY ASSIGNMENT tab found in Canvas. 

 About the Weekly Assessments

Students progress will be assessed each week on Friday. 

Student's will be taking a spelling, reading, and math knowledge check each Friday. These checks allow me to measure student concept knowledge and reteach concepts needing more support.
