What's cool about Sixth grade?

Cool things about 6th grade:

  • You are the oldest and most knowledgeable students in the school!
  • You get to learn about world history and ancient civilizations.  We will have Egypt Day!
  • We will learn about ancient China and have a Chinese New Year luncheon.
  • You get to do some really fun science experiments and dig into the scientific method.
  • You will learn how to write an argumentative essay.  This means you can debate!
  • Math will include many new concepts like negative numbers (-1, -2, etc) and the magic of statistics (look it up!)
