      The longest poem in the world is the Mahabharata. It’s an Indian poem that dates back to 4000 BC or earlier and has abut 1.8 million words! There are many different types of poems. Haiku, free verse, cinquains, limericks, acrostic, and rhymes...just to name a few. Do you have a favorite type of poem? Write a short poem in that style about your favorite holiday.
