FIT7.T2.M2.02: Food Log

Objective

Introduce the relationship between proper nutrition and physical activity.

I will know how the food I eat affects my body.

 Task

In this task, you will be logging your eating and determining how it effects your health and sleep.

Instructions

1.  Open the Food and Nutrition Log.
2.  Don't change your eating patterns at all, put down everything you eat and drink.  This does not need to include every ingredient, just what the food is called. See the example.
3. Write down your food and drink for 3 days in a row. Also write about how you feel, how you slept and how active you were.
4. NOW change at least 2 things about your food and drink habits.  Record this for 4 days, then answer the questions on the document.
5. Submit your Food and Nutrition Log.

Example: 

Monday Breakfast - Poptart and Bowl of Apple Jacks 

Monday Lunch:  1 Chicken pot pie muffin and handful of wheat thins

Monday Dinner:  T-Bone Steak

Monday Treats/Snacks:  Brownies

Monday Drinks:  64 oz. water
