Practice: Making Models of Actions and Reactions: ISC7.T1.M2.06

Objective

I can apply Newton’s Third Law to design a solution to a problem involving the motion of two colliding objects in a system. 

  Task

Have you ever ran into a pole or wall, like when you were texting? When you hit, you seem to bounce back even though you are moving forward.  In this activity, you are going to learn and draw the action and reaction of two items colliding.

Instructions

1. Complete the two tasks and define the forces of action and reaction in the assignment Links to an external site..

2. Make a model of ONE of the two events.

3. Write a concluding explanation about the patterns between the two events.

4. Once completed, upload and click submit.
