FIT7.T1.M3.03: Practice a Sport of your choice

Objective

Identify and practice sequences of movement skills in selected activities.

I can play a sport and improve by working on the basics.

 Task

In this assignment, you will be practicing and reporting on a sport of your choice.

Instructions

1.  Pick a sport, or activity you like, or already do. Some possibilities might include:  soccer, basketball, baseball, running, dancing, cheer, gymnastics, tumbling, golf, hiking, or ANYTHING that is physical and you can teach.
2.  Practice for 2 hours. This does not need to be a solid 2 hours. You can do 4 sessions of 30 minutes, 2 sessions of 1 hour each, or all 2 hours together.
3.  You will answer the following questions about this assignment:
   1. Did you practice for all 2 hours?
   2. What are the basics of your sport/activity?
   3. How much time did it take you to develop these skills?
   4. What advice do you have to help someone learn the skills?

4. Choose one of theses options to answer the above questions for this assignment: 

   1. Write and submit 3 paragraphs answering the above questions, OR

   2. Make a video answering the above questions, OR

   3. Make a PowerPoint or Prezi answering the above questions, OR do use another type of application to answer the above questions.

   4. Submit your assignment when complete.
