After completing the Nearpod on Camera Parts, Shot Size, and Camera Angles, use your phone to take pictures of the following. Remember to take pictures horizontally, not vertically:
- Wide/Long Shot
- Medium Shot
- Close Up
- Extreme Close Up
- High Angle
- Low Angle
- Dutch Angle
- Bird's Eye View
- Bug's Eye View
- Eye Level
To receive points for these pictures, each picture must:
- Feature a subject.
(This subject should preferably be another person in your photo. No everyday objects like trash cans, computers, etc. should be used.) - Use basic composition rules.
(i.e. Rule of thirds, etc., nothing fancy required unless you want to). - Be photographed horizontally, not vertically.
When completed, add the pictures to a slideshow and label each picture by which shot size or angle it is using.
Tip: Remember that a medium shot captures a person's waist-up, not their full body. It's a wide shot that captures their full body or more.
