Wednesday:

Chapter 2.1: Getting started with Writing. pg 11-17. Think about how we read and how authors write.
Thursday:
Chapter 3.2: From Interpretations to Assertions. pg 45-51. This explains what can get in the way of a good analysis.
Chapter 4.1: Explaining your Perspective. pg 52-64. This section show you how to develop your analysis. Nice examples and good tool (K. Burke's Pentad pg 54).
