USHI1.S10.O2.05 Standard 10 Objective 2 Practice Activity C (Mining: Boom or Bust)

Many groups moved out west.  Some areas became large towns or even cities.  However, some rose quickly and then became abandoned.  This cycle was called "boom and bust" and often left "ghost towns".  You will be investigating the cycle of boom and bust towns and applying it to real life examples.
