Grading Discussions

Now that you have participated in a discussion, watch as your instructor demonstrates how to grade each discussion post and provide immediate high quality feedback to each student.

To grade a discussion, first click on the "Speed Grader" link from the settings wheel icon on the discussion or assignment you would like to assess.

 

 

Once you are in SpeedGrader you will then be able to post comments and assign points to each student.  You will also see not only the student's original post on their page, but also all of their comments to other students.  This makes it easy to insure that each student did interact with the other participants in the discussion.
