Your Assignment: Design and an experiment that investigates how Earth's biosphere, geosphere, atmosphere, or hydrosphere reacts to human-caused change.
Choose one of the spheres and design an experiment that someone could conduct based on how humans impact one of the above mentioned spheres. Some ideas include, but are not limited to: pollution, mining, development, logging, over-fishing, temperature changes, etc.
For your experiment you need the following:
- A scientific question. Your experiment will attempt to answer this question
- List of materials needed to conduct the experiment
- A procedure for conducting the experiment. This should be step by step and detailed enough that you could give the instructions to another person to carry out the experiment without you.
- An inference. If you were to conduct this experiment, what do you think the results might some research for this part).
