Create a Concert

For this assignment, I want you to program a concert.   As the director, you will need to choose a theme for the concert. Examples are: Light vs Dark,  Fiesta,  Welcome to the Islands,  Bells are Ringing.   Be creative!!

You have 3 choirs that will be singing-  a men's choir (Tenor/Bass),  a Ladies Choir (Soprano/Alto) and a mixed choir (Soprano, Alto, Tenor, Bass).    Each choir will sing 3 songs on the concert.  Generally,  you begin with a fast upbeat song,  the middle can be either be a slow ballade or a foreign language,  the final song is your grand finale, generally a spiritual or something that has a big ending.

I use JW Pepper the most.  Once you click on the site,  start browsing through the songs.  You will notice that each song can be voiced for each different choir.  You can choose which choir you would want to sing it.   Click on the listen icon to hear what the song sounds like.

Listen to the songs and again choose 3 for each choir to sing.

In the question section you will need to put in your theme and why you chose it,  the selections in the order you want them sung with the composer/arranger name and why you chose them.

Please be thoughtful on this.  Don't just pick the 1st three songs you see.
