Think back to the stories we've read so far this term:
"Lamb to the Slaughter," "Linoleum Roses" in class, "Cathedral," "Hills like White Elephants," "Indian Camp," and last, due next week, "No Face."
Which of these stories best helps you to understand conflict resolution (internal and external)? Why?
Which story can you most relate to, and which do you relate to least? Why?
Last: if you had to pick, which of these would not be considered "a classic" story? (This is to say, a story in the great literary canon, the group of stories assembled that best represent what a "great" story is?)
3-4 lines should suffice, but give it some thought. I'm curious to see what you have to say!
