In-class discussion for 12-14 and 12-15 on 2 Nonfiction Essays

We'll do two essays today: "Ambush," and "Total Eclipse." I want you to reply to these both before submitting your answer to this discussion board, so I'd type your answer into a Word document so you can read/listen-to the two essays from the module below this that contains all the stories and essays.

To consider as you respond to each of these: as Nonfiction, how relatable are these? In what specific ways does the art of the author invite you in to consider your life and the world around you? In what ways do the authors elaborate on the theme of the essay (and what is the theme/lesson for each?), or anything else you could think of!
