Week 10: Wrap-up and Looking ahead

Wrap-up

This week we completed missing assignments for the end of the term. Students that had all assignments turned in on time got to participate in a lab activity.

The BIG IDEAS addressed this term:

Matter is cycled throughout the environment. This includes necessities such as Carbon, Oxygen, Water and Nitrogen.

Carbon and Nitrogen move up Food chains.

Organisms require energy to live and grow. Some organisms get this from the sun (plants or autotrophs) and some get it from other organisms (heterotrophs).

Looking Ahead

Next term we will be taking a closer look at what makes up our bodies and how they function
