Wrap-up

This week we learned about enzymes and cell types.

The BIG IDEAS addressed this term:

Enzymes are VERY specific.

Enzymes speed up chemical reactions in the body.

There are two major cell types: Eukaryote and Prokaryote.

Eukaryotic cells can be broken into two groups: Animal and Plant cell types.

Prokaryotes are bacteria.

Viruses are not cells. This is one major reason they are not considered living.
