Cell Organelles

Students will learn the roles and jobs of the organelles. Day 2 will be spent reviewing for the test.

Objectives: Students will be able to identify the organelles of a cell and their function in the cell.

DCI 2.1 Construct an explanation based on evidence that all organisms are primarily composed of carbon, hydrogen, oxygen, and nitrogen, and that the matter taken into an organism is broken down and recombined to make macromolecules necessary for life functions.

2.2 Determine how (a) the structure and function of cells, (b) the proportion and quantity of organelles, and (c) the shape of cells result in cells with specialized functions.

Wed/Thu:

  1. Review: Kahoot Review on Organelles.
  2. Review: Review sheet and make up work time
  3. Check for Understanding: Class Kahoot Review for test.
  4. Prepare: Review Macromolecules, Enzymes, Cell Types and Cell Organelles for the Cell Structure Test on Monday/Tuesday.
