Welcome to AP United States History!
- This is a U. S. History survey course equivalent to a freshman/sophomore-level college course. It is designed to provide you with high school credit, help you pass a test based on the Immigration and Naturalization Citizenship test needed for graduation and prepare you for the AP U. S. History test given by the College Board each May. Passing the AP test can give you up to 6 semester hours of college credit.
Welcome to United States history!
- Understanding United States history is essential for the continuation of our democratic society. This course will help students make connections between their world and the rich heritage of United States history. It is designed as a survey of American history with an emphasis on post-Reconstruction American (1877- Present). The course can be taught using a thematic approach in chronological order. This course will also help you pass a test based on the Immigration and Naturalization Citizenship test needed for graduation
