I am thrilled to welcome you to the upcoming school year as your teacher across various subjects and schools within the Davis School District. My name is Dan Lacy, and I am excited to embark on this educational journey with each and every one of you.
My educational background includes two bachelor's degrees from Utah State University, a Master of Business Administration from Weber State University, and a Master of Education from Western Governors University. These experiences have equipped me with a diverse skill set and a deep passion for both teaching and learning.
At Centerville Jr. High School, I will be guiding you through Physical Education, Spanish, Yearbook, College and Career Awareness, and Math courses. Over at Davis Connect High School, you can find me teaching Physical Education, AP Economics and Drivers Education, while I'll be helping as your instructor at Farmington High School in the Drivers Ed program.
Beyond academics, I have a few other passions in life. I'm a die-hard University of Utah football fan, so don't be surprised if you catch me donning the Utes' colors and enthusiastically discussing their latest games. Additionally, I coach basketball, and I'm always eager to share my love for the sport with aspiring athletes.
On a personal note, I am a proud parent of four wonderful children, and my wife, who shares my enthusiasm for education, teaches AP Calculus at Farmington High. Family, like education, is a cornerstone of my life, and I look forward to getting to know all of you and becoming an integral part of your educational journey this year.
I believe that learning is a collaborative adventure, and together, we will explore new horizons, conquer challenges, and celebrate successes. I am here to support, guide, and inspire you every step of the way.
