Closeup of my face

Welcome Everyone!

My name is Janet T.  Loureiro.  I grew-up in Manti, Utah, the youngest of 5 children.  My father was a District Court Judge.  My mother looked like Snow White but was actually an Elementary teacher.  I graduated from Manti High School in 1981. After spending the summer touring Europe with a singing group, I went to Utah State University.   I graduated with a bachelor's degree in art education but stayed at USU and got another degree in English Education.  I later earned my master's degree from Leslie University in Boston Massachusetts. My first teaching job was at Farmington Jr. High School where I taught for 7 years.  Then I came to Fairfield Jr. High School when it first opened.  Go Falcons!  My sweetheart and I have been married for 34 years.  We have 3 beautiful daughters, 2 sons in laws and the three smartest and most talented grandchildren ever.  We also have 2 dogs, Ruby and Loki.  We have 3 grand dogs, 2 grand kitties and 1 grand bearded dragon.  I love to travel, draw, paint, watch movies and read.  I love teaching and look forward to having you in my classes.

Here are some pics of the family.
