I am looking forward to being your teacher this year. 3rd Grade is so much fun!
We learn many new things and use what we already know to understand more!
Some of the things you can look forward to learning are:
Multiplication, Keyboarding, Writing, Reading, Math, Writing to Pen Pals, Cursive, and many more things!
Students will only need: a backpack, small pencil box, pencils, a pencil sharpener that includes a catch for the shavings, headphones to use with our iPads.
Please remind your student to leave toys and extra items at home.
I will provide: crayons, colored pencils, 1 pencil/eraser per term (students have opportunity to purchase more with their earned tickets), scissors, notebooks, white board markers, and glue sticks.
Additional items such as markers, pens, highlighters etc... will be provided as needed and do not need to be sent to school.
Parents: As you are preparing to buy materials for class, please do not purchase extra supplies for your student. We have limited space and will not have room for extra folders, crayons, markers, etc.. If you have purchased these things already, they will be perfect for your at home learning center.
If you would like to donate supplies to our classroom, please consider the following items:
Clorox wet wipes, hand sanitizer with pump, baggies (gallon/quart), items for our treasure box, auction items at each end of term, paper towels and Kleenex. Thank YOU!
