ABOUT ME 

Hello! My name is Kara Oliverson, but my students call me Mrs. O. I have been teaching for 6 years, this will be my 4th year at Clearfield High School. I graduated from Southern Utah University in 2017 with a major in Elementary Education, however I have both an Elementary and Secondary license to teach math. My classroom runs on game-based learning. I believe if students enjoy being in class, they will naturally learn more and gain confidence in their math abilities. As far as my personal life, I come from a family of educators, all of which work in Davis School District. I am a huge Disney fanatic and generally visit both Disneyland and Disney World each year. We are such big Disney fans, that we named our daughter Kopper after The Fox and the Hound. I have a 18 month old daughter who attends this CHS daycare so you may see her wondering the halls sometimes. She is a wild child! In my freetime, I love spending time with my cute girl and watching way too many episodes of The Office, Impractical Jokers, and Gilmore Girls. I can't wait to spend the school year getting to know my students!
