Here is a little information about me... I

have lived in Layton my entire life except for a few years that I spent at B.Y.U. My husband and I have 5 children, and 2 wonderful daughters-in-law. My youngest  child will be  in 11th grade. We have 4 cats, a dog, and 3 goats and 9 chickens.

I have taught elementary school for 17 years. Most of which has been here at Creekside Elementary. I love teaching and love making new friends each year!

I love to read, and eat anything sweet. Cookies and cupcakes are my favorite! 

Hello, Welcome to third grade! I am so excited to share in your child's journey of learning.  At this age children are so excited to learn about the world around them. They are becoming proficient at reading, writing and math and it is so fun to help them stretch and grow. 

My mother  taught me... the best friend I could ever have was a good book! I hope to help your child create a love for reading. I believe every child is a reader, they just need to find their favorite book!

 As your child's teacher I hope to make your child feel  like they can achieve anything they try to do. Learning new things can prove to be easy for some and a challenge for others. We are all individuals with our own strengths, and weaknesses, with hard work and perseverance we can all  rise to a higher point. I hope to instill in your child the idea that if they have the desire and put forth the effort, they can accomplish anything they set out to do. Believing in ourselves is the first step.
