Dear Parents,
It is hard to believe that this is the last week of the first term. Please have your child turn in any missing assignments by Wednesday.
Hopefully you’ve seen the announcement that the district has added Wednesday as an additional early out to accommodate a conflict with some teacher training. Wednesday is also individual picture day. Everyone gets their picture taken so please send your children looking their best. 😊
Thursday we will have an outside Halloween Parade around the track at 9:15 a.m. Parents are invited to bring a chair or blanket to sit and watch the parade. If the weather is bad, the parade will be cancelled. Keep your fingers crossed for some sunshine that day!
Please send your child to school on Thursday wearing his/her costume. Just a reminder that no costume masks are allowed. Of course, no weapons – even play weapons – are allowed either. We want to keep all of the kiddos safe. We have some great moms that are planning a fun Halloween party for the children as well.
The children are learning and growing. Thanks for being so consistent with making sure your child reads 20 minutes every night. It really makes a difference. You are raising wonderful children.
