Mini Biography: I am a Utah native with 4 Viewmont alumni children. I started my education as a nursing major but took a 15 year break to do some intense and focused child development field research. I found myself volunteering in the classroom often while my children were young and started my career as a 504 aide. I went back to school in time to graduate with a Special Education Bachelors degree the same year my oldest graduated from Viewmont. My husband and I have lived in our home for almost 30 years and we love our Davis County roots and neighbors! I started teaching at Viewmont in 2015 and feel very fortunate to work among such amazing people. I am a special education teacher who is 'highly qualified' to teach math. My mom taught me to understand math, Mr. Archibald, my 12th grade Calculus teacher, taught me to trust math, and my students have taught me to enjoy math. My cousin Kelie taught me not to under-estimate people (she has been surprising us since she was born!) and my dad taught me to see information - not behavior. I love teaching and learning. If I ever have free time, I love spending it with our growing family. I am always interested in wellness of every kind.

I co-teach Secondary Math II with Mr. Emery 1st period. I also teach Math Lab, Applied Math and I am the Impact Team Advisor!
