Mr. Riva's Home Page
Welcome! I am Andrew Riva, PE teacher for Beginning Fitness 7/8 and PE Skills & Technique 9. I also will teach Study Skills this year. This is my fourth year at South Davis but first year as a PE teacher. I taught Resource at the high school level for 15 years in California before moving to Utah in 2021. I have taught Resource classes here at South Davis Junior High the last 3 years.
A few things about me... I have been married for 23 years to my wife Angela and we have two sons, Nicholas 20 and Christopher 14. I am a huge sports fan and being from northern California, I root for the SF 49ers, SF Giants and the Golden State Warriors (Sorry Jazz fans!) I like to golf, even though I am not really good at it but I am getting better. I am a fan of Marvel Cinematic Universe and old Marvel comic books.
