Orchestra Week 5 - Sept 26 - Oct 3

I will be at Bountiful Jr. only Thursday Sept 29th for parent teacher conferences.  The 28th I will be at my other school.  If you need to meet with me come Thursday the 29th or contact me at ckrivanec@dsdmail.net  or call at 801-402-6224 (leave a message). 

Plan for the concert Thursday October 27th at 7:00.  You need to be in the orchestra room by 6:30.  You will come dressed in a costume (no masks) or best dress any color. 

1. Bring your instrument to class and participate.  Each day that you participate in orchestra is worth 25 points.

2. Practice 4 times this week for 30 minutes each time. You are always welcome to practice more than that!  Keep track of your practicing on the practice record.  Practice Record-6.doc Download Practice Record-6.doc 

3. Review pages 20 & 21 exercises 113 - 117.  Work on page 4 #13 - 20 You should also work on the concert music. 

4. We will have a note naming quiz worth 24 points.

5. Work on Smart Music. You need 100 minutes by the end of the term.  This will be worth 100 points.  Work in Smart Music counts toward your regular practice time.

6. Start planning for your term project.
