There are 3 different types of irony. Go to this link and read about examples of each. Links to an external site. Then complete the following directions.
Directions: In the text box, type one short example of EACH of the types of irony.
1- Situational irony: The opposite of what we would expect to happen
2- Verbal irony: Saying the opposite of what you mean (sarcasm)
3- Dramatic Irony: The reader or audience knows something a character does not
