You've Made It!

Welcome to one of the greatest times of your life. Band at BHS has grown into a fantastic and inclusive program. There are massive benefits by being apart of band! Students will make instant friends, they will develop a passion for music, and they will strengthen key attributes such as teamwork, practice habits, initiative, social skills, and worth ethic. These skills gained in Junior High Band will only be improved during the High School years.

About Mr. Bell

I knew I wanted to be a band teacher the moment I saw my first Jazz Band concert in Salt Lake City. I LOVE music and I LOVE seeing it influence our students lives. I played in band, Jazz band, and marching band, and sang in choir all through Junior high and High School. I received my degree in Music Education from Utah State University and a Masters in Music from Washington State University. I have a wonderful addiction to Tillamook mudslide ice cream, I'm married to the greatest kindergarten teacher in the world, I have the best dog anyone could ask for, and I have a beautiful little girl named Quincy. Class Information:

All Band classes at Bountiful High School are run with two things in mind. These two things can only happen when you work on both.

1. You are absolutely going to have the time of your life in your band class.

2. You are going to work hard.

You will find in high school band that you want to work hard because working hard is what makes the class fun. ITS GOING TO BLOW YOUR MIND!
