Hello! I'm Ms. Kelly Boren, and I teach AP and Concurrent English here at Davis High. I am so excited to share my love of writing and literature with the students of Davis High. I grew up in Park City, UT, and graduated from Rowland Hall in Salt Lake City. I earned my BA in English from Scripps College in Claremont, CA, and my MAT in Secondary Teaching from Westminster College in SLC, UT. I've taught every grade 7-12 except 10th. I've enjoyed teaching every level from English Language Learners to International Baccalaureate seniors. Some of my favorite texts and subjects to teach are The Crucible by Arthur Miller, writing & rhetoric, and the authors of the Harlem Renaissance.
