Objective: learn to calculate the shape of a forms, shadow.
Why: The shadows on an object show where the light is coming from. Without shadows objects look like they are floating. When drawing from imagination you do not have a shadow to look at. You can calculate where it should be.

Following the instructions in the following file, draw the shadow on each of the 4 forms. This file works best if you show the PowerPoint in slideshow mode. It will draw each line for you one at a time, which is much less confusing then getting all the information at once.
