Objective: Identify the perspective lines in a photograph. Learn to draw in 1-point perspective. Convert a photo that has 1-point perspective into a drawing. Be able to write and artist statement.
Why: Perspective drawing is the drawing of depth. If you can draw with perspective you can make items look close or faraway. Artist statements are used to tell the viewer what your art is about. Most artists must submit them with the art when displaying it.

Draw 1-point perspective drawing of one of theses photos. Draw it in the rearview mirror.

On the back of the tree template, answer the included questions. If you would like, you may punch a hole in the top of your tree. Tie a string through the hole and hang the tree on the mirror.
Photograph or scan your work and submit a copy to me or bring it to class. The statement on the tree is very important. Typically you will not get higher than a D grade if it is not turned in.
