Notes on perspective

Objective: know the words associated with perspective and draw in perspective.

Why: Perspective drawing is the drawing of depth. If you can draw with perspective you can make items look close or faraway.

Define the following words.  Make sure you draw me an example of each. You may use the worksheet or draw and define each word on your own blank paper.

1. Atmospheric perspective (list four things that help us tell if it is in the distance.)
2. 1-point perspective (define and tell what kind of lines.)
3. 2-point perspective (define and tell what kind of lines.)
4. 3-point perspective (define and tell what kind of lines.) This one is tricky to draw. I will give you points for just trying even if it is wrong.

When you are done submit a file of your drawings and notes to me.
