Mr. Pince's Home Page
Welcome!
I'm Mr. Pince. I teach Applied English 7, 8, and 9. I tutored and been an instructor for a number of years, but this will be my 3rd year as a teacher and I'm excited to get back after the summer.
I've done a lot of technical writing throughout my adult life, studied the function of language in college, and I enjoy encouraging people to think differently about language in order to help them express themselves.
We do a lot of writing on paper in class so students will need a writing utensil. I'll post reading materials on Canvas and provide paper copies as needed.
If you have any questions, I enjoy answering them in person, over the phone (after school), or over email (I respond to these as soon as I see them and have a free 30 minutes). I look forward to working with you this 2024-2025 Academic Year!
