FIT7.T2.M2.02: Healthy Family Choices

 Task

In this assignment, you and your family will try out and participate in various healthy activities.

Instructions

1. 1. Pick one of the following options that you would like to do for 30 minutes.
      • • Option 1: Go for a brisk (quick paced, heart rate up) walk with a member of your family.
        • Option 2: Ride your bike to the park with a member of your family. Should take at least 30 minutes.
        • Option 3: Ask a member of your family to go on a 30 minute run with you.
        • During or after you time discuss with your family member what your family can do to increase your family health.  Some ideas: Drink more water, family walk each day, cook a meal together, try some new recipes  or many other things.
   2. Answer these questions:  
      • What option did you pick?
      • Who came with you?
      • In at least 3 sentences, tell me what you and your family member decided to do to improve your family health.
