FIT7.T1.M2.04 Flexibility Research Assignment

Objective

Identify and practice non-movement skills such as stretching, bending, and twisting.

I can teach others how to properly stretch and keep their body loose and limber.

 Task

In this assignment, you will be exploring and demonstrating the practice of stretching and how it keeps your body loose and limber.

Instructions

1.  Read the 2 articles on the Resources page.
2.  Choose 1 "of the following ways to teach me what you learned."
   1. Write a 3 paragraph paper.  Use 12 Point Font, double spaced. Check your spelling, grammar, and punctuation           OR
   2. Make a commercial/video or digital presentation This could be you teaching your family member, friend or even me the teacher. Have fun with it!
3. In either option please Include the following: 
   1. Why flexibility is important, how it will benefit you in your life, why is it important to warm up and cool down, how to stretch 4 of the Major Muscle Groups.
   2. Could be the:  Quadriceps, Hamstrings, Claves, chest back, shoulders, triceps, biceps, forearms, triceps or abs.  
   3. Sources (paste the link to the websites you used, this is a good habit to start or continue)
4. Review the rubric listed under Resources. Once completed, click Submit.
