Hello Students and Family!

It's so nice to meet you! My name is Ms. Anderson and I'm thrilled to have all you students in my class and I know we will have a great year, or even just a semester, together.

This is my first year teaching Math at Legacy Junior High. I am excited to be joining the math team here at school. And I am excited to learn and grow with all of you.

Let me share a little bit about myself. I grew up in South Weber, Utah and actually did all my schooling in the Davis School District. Math and Orchestra were my favorite subjects.

I went to college at Southern Utah University and earned a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education with two endorsements in Mathematics and English As A Second Language. I have worked in a variety of positions, such as tutoring, teaching, and caring for kids from a few months old to high school students. I even mentored veterans returning to school while I was at the University.

There is so much that I am looking forward to this year! We will learn many new math concepts, like linear equations, the Pythagorean theorem, and other geometric concepts. I can't wait to meet you and start this school year off right!
