Election ads and polls

Participate in the following discussion: Read the descriptions of two ads at the bottom of pp. 14-15, and view all campaign ad videos online (www.upfrontmagazine.com   access code--"debreeves3"). Then discuss which ad is most effective (REGARDLESS OF WHICH CANDIDATE YOU SUPPORT IN THE 2016 RACE). Discuss what persuasive techniques are used and whether they are fair or deceptive. YOU MUST:

1. Contribute a well-formed answer to the question before you will be allowed to view and respond to others.
2. Phrase your answer to demonstrate EMPATHY by summing up the opposite view FIRST and then countering it with your own.
3. Make sure every response contains EVIDENCE to back up your CLAIM.
4. Keep your comments RESPECTFUL. NO personal insults, degrading language, sarcasm, or unsupported claims will be allowed!
