A simple way of creating this is to use a window or loose piece of plexiglass. You can also create multiple layers by painting, pressing the paper, painting again, and pressing your paper again, etc. Make sure you let your print dry between presses though. You may also create texture by scraping the paint, using Qtips, etc. I would also like you to use a prepared background. You can use newspaper, collage, marbled paint, stencils, etc.

I want you to also focus on an aboriginal or native motif. I'm including examples of monotypes and also of art of other cultures.
