Writing a Narrative Story
🎯 Objective: I can introduce a topic and group related information together.
Purpose: Good writers organize their paper effectively for readers to understand the character traits, sequence of events, and cause & effect.
Success Criteria:
I will write an organized narrative story about a scarecrow onto lined Scarecrow paper.
Materials Needed:
Scarecrow Writing Paper and a pencil
Student Instructions:
1. Write your narrative story on the Scarecrow Writing paper using your Narrative Map graphic organizer to guide you.
2. Submit a picture of each page of your completed Scarecrow Writing Paper to your teacher.
Prompt: What will happen to your scarecrow? Identify a problem that your scarecrow will have? Choose 3 events that your scarecrow will do or go through to solve the problem. Use many details to describe your scarecrow and explain what happens to your scarecrow in your narrative story.
