Organizing a Narrative Story

 

🎯 Objective: I can introduce a topic and group related information together. 

Purpose: Good writers organize their paper effectively for readers to understand the character traits, sequence of events, and cause & effect. 

 

Success Criteria:

Materials Needed: 

notepad.png Narrative Map Paper and a pencil 

 

Student Instructions:

1.  Complete your Narrative Map graphic organizer using your Think Session paper to guide you.  

2.  Submit a picture of your completed Narrative Map graphic organizer to your teacher.

Prompt:  What will happen to your scarecrow?  Identify a problem that your scarecrow will have? Choose 3 events that your scarecrow will do or go through to solve the problem. Use many details to describe your scarecrow and explain what happens to your scarecrow in your narrative story.
